Drosera marchantii

D. marchantii (D. marchantii ssp. marchantii) is an erect growing species reaching up to 50 cm in height. It has a small number of bracts at the lower part of the stem and pink flowers (D. prophylla: many bracts, white flowers). The solitary leaves a scattered along the upper part of the glabrous stem.

The tubers are white or red. At the moment I am not sure whether tubers of a certain plant always will have the same colour or whether it will change from year to year.

The flowers are pink and open for several days (and close during the nights).
