Drosera zonaria Drosera zonaria is a rosetted species reaching up to 7 cm in diameter with up to 30 leaves forming the compact rosette. The leaves are arranged in a tile-like manner crowded to the centre of the rosette. This appearance is quite distinctive and only some D. lowriei forms may be similar (but those can be easily told apart by the single scaped flowers). This species flowers only very rarely. If it does, one or two inflorescences are produced at the centre of the rosette up to 5 cm long with up to 8 flowers per scape. The seeds are quite large for this genus. The tubers are orange. |
